Choose a category to quickly find the help you need

  • Enter your student number (digits only) and passcode, then click 'Go' (note, you received your unique passcode in your email invitation)
  • Complete Step 1 - Graduation Package and click 'add to cart'
  • Complete Step 2 - Guest Tickets and click 'add to cart'
  • Click proceed to checkout
  • Login to your Reed Graduation Services account (or sign up if a new user)
  • Complete checkout prompts

Your Graduation package $300AUD (approx. $255SGD) and includes your ticket to the ceremony and graduate reception, gown hire, a digital photograph of you receiving your testamur and a group photo with your graduating cohort. As part of your package, printed copies of these photographs are also available upon request and presented in a hardcover photo album.

Yes! The default option in the registration portal is the hire package. If you wish to purchase academic dress please email graduation@newcastle.edu.au

During the registration process, you will be asked if you wish to purchase guest tickets. If you purchase guest tickets, you will be prompted to enter their details. This is so that we can email them the guest tickets. You will be able to purchase up to 3 guest tickets at time of registration. If you’re not sure who you would like to bring as guests at the time of registering, you may put your own contact details in the guest details fields. You can come back and update this at a later date.

Additional guest tickets may be made available once the initial registration period has closed. You will be emailed information on when and how to purchase additional guest tickets 1 -2 weeks prior to the ceremony.  If available for your ceremony, additional guest tickets will cost $70AUD (approx. $60SGD) each. They are not always guaranteed and are subject to capacity of the venue. If made available, additional tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis until all are exhausted.

No, guest tickets are only required for those attending the ceremony as a guest. You do not need to bring guests to your ceremony. If you do not wish to purchase guest tickets, please select “I don’t need guest tickets” during the registration process.

Children under two years old can enter without a guest ticket on the condition they sit with an adult who holds a guest ticket. Older children will require guest tickets.

If you are no longer able to attend your ceremony and would like to request a refund, please email hello@reedevents.com.au prior to 11.59pm (SGT) Wednesday 12th November 2025. The Reed Events team will be able to process this request for you.

If you are no longer able to attend your ceremony due to unforeseen circumstances after this date, please email graduation@newcastle.edu.au outlining the circumstances that prevented you from attending your ceremony. The graduation team will assess your request for a refund on a case-by-case basis.

Werkz Photography will be available on the day of the ceremony in the Star Performing Arts Centre, Level 3 - Studio 4. Please contact Werkz Photography for further details.

No. A photo is taken of every single graduate as they receive their testamur. A photo of the graduating cohort will also be taken at the conclusion of the ceremony. You will be provided with details on how to access these photos in the week after the ceremony.
